There it goes as I promised!
I saw Ryan Wood [link] and Sam Neilson [link] blogs and I couldn't resist to try. This is the coloring book page I used:[link] I used this painting by Fragonard, one of my favorite painters ever, as my inspiration for the ambience. [link] Normally people do this as a quick exercise, but I passed days painting it, because I really wanted to know how far I might be able to go with it. The hardest part was to make it look like an actual UNDERWATER old painting. I had to push the technique for that. CommentsHmm...You might want to check your outgoing blog links again. The link to Sam Neilson's blog is the same as Ryan Wood's.
But anyway--You did an awesome job with your coloring book rendering! I like how the colors & texture of this piece give it a very (if you'll excuse the pun!) washed & aged appearance to it, like an old painting in a sunken ship under the ocean! Corrected! thank you very much
That was exactly what I was looking for when I painted it. I guess the days I passed doing it, slowly, with no rushes, finally paid back. -- Visit my official Website [link] It's so beautiful the way you draw and color her.
If I may ask, would you consider doing a commission of her but in a different way. -- My page at FanFiction.net - TattooAlchemist My Mini City - Imbocca Very lovely coloring Spiritto!! Truly inspiring!!
-- I am Bobble from D*sney Fairies in The Disney Directory's Character Claimers' Crew Thank you very much! It was a long work. I hope it looks at least "Painted"
